Nokia, Siemens & Ericsson are now 3G partners of Vodafone

Vodafone Essar, one of the prominent name in the wireless world, made a major announcement on Wednesday. Nokia The announcement stated that Nokia Siemens Networks and Ericsson India will now work as the partners with Vodafone for its 3G network all around the country.This collaboration will seek high quality 3G services in the Indian market. They will also work for the synergy between 3G and GSM network. They will aim at smooth packet access networks spread in the 9 of Vodafone’s licensed circle for 3G services.These circles include Goa, Mumbai, Kolkata, Maharashtra, Chennai & Tamil Nadu, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Haryana, and West Bengal almost covering 60% of the coverage. Vodafone is planning to work on the superior services like video telephony, mobile TV etc. To solve the purpose, it will utilise the HSPA technology. The major reason of selecting Ericsson as one of the partner is that it can provide its exclusive 3G HSPA services for the 3 major metros of India ie Kolkata, Delhi and Mumbai.The other circles of network is being server by the Nokia Siemens. It will also provide it innumerable 3G network for these countries.
