Well I got a little behind so this is coming a day late but who cares lol. Anyways.. The Tournament has begin,the Quarter Finals have started and these boxers have stepped into the ring with the thought in mind that they will become the best boxer of all time and claim the championship. For those of who havent been following, It’s a two bracket system, featuring 12 boxers, 6 boxers for Punch Outt! series and 6 boxers from the Hajime No Ippo anime series. All fights have been simulated on the hardest difficult,NOT at anytime during these fights am I participating. All boxers are controlled by the CPU and attack each other accordingly. These fights are treated as if they were real regulated matches, some of them going as many as 8 rounds. Also there will be many sounds and many various music pieces that are played during the fights, this was put in so that either #1. Viewers didnt have to sit in silence while they boxed and #2. I didn’t want it to get repetitve having one song loop for a 20min fight. Keep in mind,while these matches range in the 20min department, they’re unpredictable and easily enjoyable! “Ring ni Kakero” is the main text of this japanese song and means “bet it all on the ring”. That was the main reason why I choose this song for my new Hajime no Ippo AMV because I think it fit good. Ring ni Kakero is another boxing anime, not so good as Hajime no Ippo but still worth to watch it. Found this song some days ago and just must do a video with that. I didn’t fallow the complete lyrics, only these passages I understand because I was to lazy for searching a translation. The song is about a boxer and the inner strongness, every boxer have (or better – every good boxer must have). I’m a boxer too so I can say, it’s true. When you stay in ring, you don’t think about what happend when you will hurt, you put your complete power in it. The song is very amazing and I like him very much. It show the true heart of a boxer, a fighter inside and I think Ippo is a true hero and boxer. But many characters from Hajime no Ippo are so and thats a reason why I use some little scenes with Takamura, Miyata, Itagaki and Yamada. Their fortunes are intimately connected with each other and I hope you will like the results same as I do. Hajime no Ippo is my favorite anime all time!
